Project Title: Promotion of the Procurement Independence through Monitoring and Engagement

Project Overview

This EU-funded project aims to elaborate alternative reports, reflecting the hate crimes and cases of violence against women from a regional perspective, identifying challenges and developing solutions in Adjara region. The project supports increasing accountability of the PSG to the general public in light of monitoring reports of the Strategy of PSG. It accomplishes this by monitoring and reporting the increased ability of prosecutors to conduct prosecutions of hate crimes and cases of violence against women. Under this project, the Batumi branch office of CSI is responsible for preparing alternative monitoring reports about specific parts of PSG Strategy - based on monitoring and elaborating policy documents about hate crimes and cases of violence against women (in the Adjara Region)

Promoting Prosecutorial Independence through Monitoring and Engagement (PrIME) is the European Union funded initiative implemented by the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information (IDFI) in cooperation with the Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC) Georgia and the Studio Monitor.
