Project Overview:

Within the framework of the Good Governance Program, since January 2010 Civil Society Institute implements the project - "Improving Public Participation in Local Decision-Making". The project aims to increase the degree of participative democracy through the improved involvement of the public in the process of local decision-making. The following activities are planned under the project:

  • Identification of local needs / Development of the prioritization methodology / Promoting the introduction;
  • Development of concrete recommendations for the publicity and effectiveness of self-government and citizen participation in its activities;
  • Raising of public awareness;
  • Enhancement of the qualification and skills of the self-government servants.
