Training programme for the Legal Department Staff of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occuppied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia

On 9, 10 and 17 of July, 2010 the training programme on the issues of The General Administrative, Administrative and Civil Procedural Legislation and Court Proceeding Issues has been conducted for the Legal department Staff of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occuppied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia.

The following issues have been discussed during the programme: General Principles of Administrative legislation; Information Publicity and issues related to issuing of information; The types and specifications of administrative proceedings; General overview of Civil Procedure and Administrative Procedural Codes (general principles and difference / disparity); The types of administrative claims; The forms adopted by High Council of Justice for Civil and administrative claims, the rules for filling forms; The parties of the process (the third parties in civil and administrative cases, prerogatives and obligations of the parties); Support to the Effective Administration of the Judiciary by the Administrative organs; The enforcement of the Court Decisions and support to quick and effective Justice by administrative organs;

The programme has been conducted by CSI Foundation, in the USAID funded programme Training and Technical Assistance to the Legal Department of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occuppied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia by World Learning /Georgia, FORECAST.
