Ekaterine Danelia is a project component manager of the Civil Society Institute (CSI). She is mainly involved in the Civil Society Development projects. She has been working in CSI since February, 2013. Until September she had a position of project assistant. Ekaterine is a PhD student at Ilia State University at the Social and Human Science and Art Interdisciplinary Program. She obtained Master of Social Sciences (MSocS) from the Center for Social Sciences at Tbilisi State University international interdisciplinary programme in Transformation in the South Caucasus. In 2010 she graduated from Tbilisi State University, faculty of Social and Political Sciences and obtained BA degree in International Relations with honour. Her fields of interest are: Post Soviet Transformation and Democratization, Civil Society, Security Studies and European Studies.
Ekaterine has completed internships at the Parliament of Georgia (Foreign Relations Committee), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Department of European Integration) and the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS).
Since May 2012 she has been a volunteer mentor in “Diversity School” program initiated by Theodor Heuss Kolleg and funded by Robert Bosch Foundation and MitOst Association in the framework of the program “Joint Civic Education”.
