On 23 and 24 of July, 2010 the training programme on the issues of Law Drafting Activity and Legislative Technique has been conducted for the Legal department Staff of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occuppied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia.
The following issues have been discussed during the programme: the legislative technique for the law drafting activity of the Government, principles/basis of the law drafting, drafting subordinated acts, bylaws/normative acts by the President and Minister, compliance with international standards, parliamentary control on the law drafting activity of the Government, the Government’s commitments to the Parliament, the budgetary process, the financial justification of the draft laws, the public discussions and the civic engagement, etc.
The programme has been conducted by CSI Foundation, in the USAID funded programme Training and Technical Assistance to the Legal Department of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occuppied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia by World Learning/Georgia, FORECAST.
