Project goal:

Foster raising of the effectiveness of development-oriented civil society organizations so as to enable them better facilitate the alleviation of inequality, marginalization and poverty in the country.

Project objectives:

• Improve legal environment – as a result, improved legal environment enables CSOs to operate better and more efficiently;
• Promote civic engagement – as a result, relations between self-government and society are institutionalized, which ensures more effective and transparent self-government; public recognition and image of CSOs is improved, while their role in public life is enhanced and intensified, which, in turn, encourages civic engagement and civic activism;
• Facilitate cooperation among CSOs – as a result, communication, coordination, and partnership among CSOs are improved; a strong union/platform of CSOs is set up, which develops a coherent vision and standards of the sector as well as ensures involvement in international processes, advocacy and lobbying for interests of CSOs. All this, overall, has an immense impact on the effectiveness of the development of CSOs in the country and greatly facilitates the improvement of activities of local CSOs;
• Contribute to the enhancement of capacities of CSOs through the introduction of a results-oriented management system – as a result, local CSOs are able to improve their skills so as to make their activities oriented on final results as much as possible, and to ensure the introduction of sustainable positive changes in order to overcome inequality, marginalization and poverty in the country.
