The Civil Society Institute continues its “First time at the self-government elections” campaign.

Within the framework of the second phase of the campaign, which serves peer education, there were held face-to-face meetings in Gori, as well as in Machakhela and Charnali villages, while an online meeting – with young people of the Khelvachauri center.

Youth, invited to these meetings, got information about the role of young people in the development of self-governance, elections, and civil society, shared by their peers who are actively involved in the campaign.

Hosts and speakers of the meetings were: Lika Kokoladze, Natia Putkaradze, Tako Saginadze, Roman Surmanidze, Tornike Katamadze, Mariam Khmiadashvili and Iakob Magalashvili.

The campaign is implemented by the Civil Society Institute within the framework of the “Building a Robust Alliance of Local Development Actors in Georgia” (Phase Two) project, with the support of a German organization “Bread for the World” and in collaboration with the Youth Center of Khelvachauri Municipality.
