On 15-16 November 2010 British Council and its partners Eurasian Partnership Foundation (EPF), Center for Strategic Research and Development (CSRDG) and The Civil Society Institute held a training course on Planning the Social Enterprise. 25 participants of the training gathered from various regions of Georgia were eager to learn about this new concept and find out more about the tools used to develop a social enterprise.
Mr. Freer Spreckley, British expert together with the trainers from our partner organisation shared his experience with the participants and he discussed the advantages of Social Enterprises for countries like Georgia.
It is worth mentioning that our training coincided with the Global Entrepreneurship Week in UK (15-21 November 2010). Global Entrepreneurship Week puts the UK at the heart of a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, embracing innovation, imagination and creativity, developing peoples enterprise skills, confidence, and making them realise their ambitions.
