Project goal
Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Saburtalo district administration by intensifying participation of municipality population into activities of local self-government executive bodies.
Project objectives
• Inform population and raise their awareness about their rights in relation to local self-government bodies;
• Create legal mechanisms for the participation of population;
• Facilitate a public council forming process;
• Train public council members and equip them with relevant knowledge;
• Replicate the model of the public council, facilitate its introduction-dissemination in other districts of Tbilisi.
