On June 18, in Sheraton Metekhi Palace Hotel, Support of Self-Governance Development in Georgia Project has been presented. Simultaneously, ceremony of signing Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, EU Delegation to Georgia and Civil Society Institute.
Since March 2009, Civil Society Institute with financial support of EU is implementing Support of Self-Governance Development in Georgia Project.
The Project aims to enhance efficiency and transparency of self-governance by means of strengthening ties between population and self-governance units (enhancement of civic involvement).
The Project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Gurjaani, Kvareli, Gori, Kaspi, Ozurgeti, Chokhatauri, Batumi and Kobuleti self-governance units.
