On June 27-29 in Batumi Hotel Tanamgzavri, 3 day training has been held for the benefit of former South Ossetia Autonomous District Territory Provisional Administration Government Members and representatives of self-governance units, dedicated to budget system and financial management related issues.
Training aimed at increase of theoretical knowledge of Provisional Administration representatives as well as acquisition of practical skills in budget preparation and execution, accounting and control.
17 officers of the Administration have attended the training, including representatives from the ministries of Economics, Finances, Agriculture, Education, Integration, Justice, Healthcare, Culture, Refugees and Accommodation (Ministers ad Deputies) as well as Gamgebelis (heads of self-governance unit) of Eredvi, Kurti and Tighvi.
Training participants have been instructed in budget system and financial management related subjects, including: budgetary system of Georgia, budgetary process for state budget; budgetary process for local self-governance budgets; inter-budgetary relations; transfer policy; flow of budgetary amounts and distribution of income between budgets of different level; essence and functions of local self-governance unit budget; budgetary income and principles of expenditure of local self-governance unit.
