On February 27-29 of the current year, Efficient Organization Model, Management Basics and Managerial Skills Training has been held in Tbilisi Hotel Tori for Public Welfare Organizations.
Training was aiming to acquaint participants with efficient organization model, general principles of management and new approaches, improvement of practical management skills.
Training participants have been given an opportunity to acquire number of techniques that will enable them to improve efficiency of business and private relations with their staff. Participants have been acquainted with efficient organization model and its basic components as well as four main functions of management – planning; assessment and control; motivation; organization; characteristics of formal and informal groups; different styles of leadership and management.
By means of a training participants have been given an opportunity to improve managerial skills such as activity planning – setting tasks and defining indicators of activity assessment; efficient communication and active listening; efficient delegation of power and feedback.
Mentioned training has constituted 3rd stage of welfare organizations’ institutional training program. First two cycles have occurred last year and have encompassed legal issues and project set-up framework related issues.
The event has been organized by Civil Society Institute as part of welfare organizations’ environment improvement project. Project is partnered and funded by EED (Evangelishcer Entwicklugsdienst) Foundation.
