Project goal
Establish an effective model of citizen participation in the implementation of local self-governance in the city of Batumi, which will facilitate to increase the degree of involvement of citizens, their awareness about effective participation of society in local self-governance related reforms and the process of self-governance, as well as to reform the system of citizen participation in the implementation of local self-governance following to the change in legislation and taking into account new challenges.
Project objectives
• Introduce an effective model of citizen participation in the process of implementation of local self-governance in the city of Batumi;
• Raise public awareness about local self-governance institutions.
