How Georgian Consumer Can Benefit From Association Agreement

Project goal

At tourist areas – in Kobuleti, Shekvetili and Grigoleti, inform service providers about such legal provisions of the Association Agreement, signed between Georgia and the European Union in 2014, as food safety and labeling, informing customers, protection against misleading or fraud, and service security.

Project objectives

• Inform representatives of all three municipalities about problems related to the protection of rights of consumers and food safety;
• Train 9 volunteers, selected from target municipalities, as disseminators of information regarding rights of a consumer;
• Develop guidelines – “Consumer Rights in Georgia and Europe”.
